“It seems very safe to me to be surrounded by green growing things and water.”
Barbara Kingsolver

The term oasis is usually associated with hot climate and sandy deserts with a sign of life in the form of green palms and water wells.

Faroe Islands are located in the temperate, cold climate zone and are characterised by strong winds and lack of trees. The greenery together with water are the dominating factors that create a landscape of the archipelago of eighteen islands.

Crystal clear water and fresh air constitute the greatest treasure of this beautiful green oasis of peace.
