Zielono Mi (artistic nickname) was born in 1987, Gdynia, Poland.
Graduated in Geology of master’s studies at the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences, University of Wroclaw.
Completed two semesters of Tourism at the Haskóli Íslands University.
Living in Reykjavik since 2014. Since then, she has been exploring and taking pictures of wild nature in Iceland and other areas of the Arctic.
Zielono Mi creates simple images with an analog camera. In her work, she mainly focuses on empty, often large-scale spaces and harsh landscapes full of geology, which have been changing under the influence of climate changes. The constantly changing landscape and geology of the Arctic as a result of mass tourism, continuous geological processes and climate change, interest the author the most, so these pictures appear more and more often in the latest projects.
